Lunch the Day After The Wedding

Loren & I will be having lunch at Elephant's Delicatessen on NW 22nd St in Portland at 1pm Sunday, July 13. We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to join us for lunch to do so.

The Loss of a Theme

The wedding no longer has a regency theme. I know some will be sad to see it go but due to certain issues it has been dropped. As such I have had a few questions from those I've talked to about how that affects what people should wear. The groom & groomsmen will be in tuxes but the guests are simply asked to come semi-formal. For girls that might be a nice cocktail type dress and for guys nice slacks and a button-down shirt. Portland & Monmouth Accomodations

For those guests coming from out of town and needing a place to stay I have listed some local hotels, B&Bs, etc that are either near our home in Gresham or closer to the ceremony site in Monmouth. It may be easier for those who will be in hotels to find a hotel closer to Monmouth for the night after and/or the night before the ceremony so that you won't have to do as much traveling on the day of the wedding.

Registry Information

Rather than place the registry information in the invitation we have placed it here for your convenience.
We are formally registered at Macys which you can access online or in store. If you are going to make purchases from this registry and can do it online that would be appreciated since 3% of all online purchases goes to the Conservation International Foundation. This is a really fun feature since it doesn't cost us or you any extra and it lets us support continued enviromental protection and education. Demarle does not have an official registry so I have listed the items below that we would like.
There are two ways of purchasing Demarle products: through a representative or at http://www.demarleathome.com/. If you want to contact my mom or Loren's mom they will be putting together orders via my seller's account. The benefit to this is that there is a minimum shipping cost of $10 (8% after $125) and if they combine orders no one will have to pay more than the 8% shipping. Also, the shipping via the Demarle website is a little bit higher. If you do use the Demarle website it will ask for a representative ID and mine is 5432. This will let me know it has been ordered so I can remove it from the website
